This Level 3 course, also known in the industry as 2391, is for experienced electricians who are confident in conducting inspection and testing and wish to expand their knowledge and obtain an industry recognised qualification. The course is six days long and is run onsite in our brand-new facilities.

This course supports the development of higher technical skills and covers the initial verification and periodic inspections of electrical installations. The course is designed to give you the knowledge of the correct methods and procedures to apply when conducting inspection and test on site.
Main areas of learning will include:
Initial verification, including verifying new electrical installations and the completion of Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC) and Minor Electrical Installation Works certificates (MEIWC).
Periodic inspection and testing, including verifying the continued safety and performance of existing installations and the completion of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR).

the first course starting in June.
Additional 25% fee

We are also keen to offer opportunities with local
employers to our students. For any employer that agrees to support an Electrical
Installations student with work experience, we will grant an additional 25% fee
discount for the first course starting in June. Therefore, up to 35% discount is
available for those who start the course in June, and offer a work
placement.

Many of our adult learners pay for their Level 3 and above courses with an Advanced Learner Loan. If a loan is available this is indicated in the course details. It’s easy to apply, your household income isn’t taken into account and there are no credit checks. You only need to start paying back your Advanced Learner Loan when you are earning more than £25,000 per year.
